Write the verbs in the correct form and tense.

1. She (not see)....him since last Friday.
-> She hasn`t seen him since last Friday.
2. They (not write)...the letters yet.
-> They haven`t written the letters yet.
3. How many (you eat)..if you could??
-> How many cakes can you eat, if you could?
4.(She sit here)...since four o`clock?
-> Has she been sitting here since four o`clock?
5. When I saw him he(eat)...the cakes.
-> When I saw him he was eating the cake.
6. It (must finish)....by next Monday.
-> It must be finished by next Monday.
7. These Books (write)...in 1897.
-> These books were written in 1897.
8. She(not swim)....yesterday, because she(broke)...her leg.
->She didn`t swim yesterday, because she broke her leg.
9. How many cakes(he eat)..so far?
->How many cakes has he eaten so far?
10. What(you do).....,if the bus ( not come)?
->What would you do, if the bus will not come?
11. We (not see)...him, because we (be)....in Rome.
-> We will not see him, because we are/will be in Rome.
12. He looks dead; how long (he lie)...here?
->how long does he lie here?
13. You(not must work)...tomorrow, because the teacher is ill.
-> YOu need not to work tomorrow, because the teacher is ill.

Write complete sentences from the words given.

14. If (be) yesterday,(must work) very hard.
-> If it would be yesterday, we had to work very hard.
15. (able/can go) tomorrow, if (do) today.
-> We are able to go tomorrow, if we do our homework today.
16. (not go) to hospital, if (be) more careful.
-> We wouldn`t go to the hospital, if it will be more careful.

Make sentences from the words with the verbs in the passive.
17. windows (break) boys yesterday.
-> Windows were broken by the boys yesterday.
18. car ( repair) at the moment.
-> The car was repaired at the moment.
19. appendix (must take out) last week.
-> The appendix had to taken out last week.

ok, ich habs mal probiert... kann allerdings keine regeln, alles gefühlsmäßig, schreit mich an, wenns falsch ist :wink:

Im ersten Satz steht 'since'. Man benutzt bei 'since' und 'for' meist present perfect progressive (so haben wir es jedenfalls gelernt). Also vielleicht:
"She hasn 't been seeing him since last Friday."
Hoffe, das ist nicht ganz falsch.

Warum befürchtest du, dass es falsch ist?

Du hast die korrekt Form und die Verwendung des present perfect progressive beachtet.

Ich fand, es hört sich ein bisschen komisch an.
'She hasn 't been seeing him since last Friday' klingt irgendwie - fehl am Platz. Aber wenn 's richtig ist - gut.

Wird immer dann verwendet, wenn irgendetwas noch andauert, aber in der Vergangenheit begonnen hat.
